Every knob does something you can hear, and the screen shows you what it did.

Software synths usually bury the signal in a menu. This one puts the panel in front of you the way a hardware unit would, with real knobs and patch points and a scope that redraws while you turn things. You hear the change and watch the waveform bend at the same time, so the link between a control and a sound stops being theoretical.

You do not need to know what an oscillator is to enjoy this. Turning something and going “oh, that’s what that does” is a complete session.

Things to try

• Sweep the filter slowly and watch the scope lose its corners.
• Detune one oscillator against another until the beating starts.
• Push the envelope to its extremes and find where it stops sounding musical.
• Patch something into a place it was probably not meant to go.

Why it’s a speck

It makes noise in a browser tab. There’s no track to finish and nothing to save.
